A Simple Yet Effective Means To Obtain Relief

So, what does a person do to get lower back pain relief? To begin with, he or she could lie on the back on the floor and use pillows and place them under the knees and then bend the hips and knees. Alternatively, the person may bend hips and put up the feet on a chair or simply keep the knees and hips bent which should help in taking the pressure as well as weight off the back, and provide lower back pain relief.

For those who are resting a hurt back, a couple of days of this kind of rest should be sufficient, but long rests may cause the muscles to weaken and thus slow down recovery. Besides walking, one may also use heat pads so that the painful muscle spasms get relaxation and a maximum of 30 minutes of using a heating pad should do the trick. In addition, one may also get lower back pain relief through use of ice packs or getting a massage.

One may also turn to medications such as aspirin, acetaminophen, naproxen and ibuprofen that will all help in providing lower back pain relief.
