Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis has many causes. There are actually two kinds of excessive sweating conditions, namely generalized hyperhidrosis and focal hyperdydrosis. Focal Hyperhidrosis

This type of condition has the sufferer sweating in specific areas of the body such as the head, the feet and armpits. What causes excessive sweating in most focal hyperhidrosis cases is partly genetic. There are also many disorders that can be the factors to excessive sweating focused on a particular part of the anatomy. One such example is Frey's Syndrome where on each side of the face will excessively sweat after or during eating.



What causes excessive sweating in individuals can be a lot of conditions that has excessive sweating as symptoms. Other than natural factors of what causes excessive sweating, diseases and disorders are the usual culprits. Hormones can also be what causes excessive sweating in some individuals as well as some psychological disorder that relates to anxiety and phobias.

Natural factors that may be what causes excessive sweating are high temperatures, thick clothes, fever, exertion, foods ingested and many others. These are also some common factors to what causes excessive sweating in people and these are conditions that can be easily manipulated to suit the person. These natural causes of excessive sweating can be changed according to the whims of the individual unless the individual suffers from a condition that says otherwise.
