It could be a minor infection that could be fixed with a few medicines and proper personal hygiene; or it could also be something very serious such as cancer in its different forms or any such terrible disease and this could be the danger signal waiting to be discovered by you. Women above 35 years old are advised to have a complete medical check ups every two years and after you cross 45, you are advised to do so yearly. However, very few women follow this advice and if so, such symptoms should never be ignored. A word of advice - never take it for granted that you know what is happening in your body.
