Finding Answers to a Pregnancy Question

Pregnancy is a time of happiness, joy, excitement, and also confusion. Whether you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or perhaps even not considering getting pregnant at all, there may be a pregnancy question or two that you would like answered. There are so many questions that surround the matter of pregnancy, and it can be a great relief to find a proper answer to your pregnancy question, regardless of how important or not the question itself may seem.

Pregnancy Question #1: How Can I Tell if I'm Pregnant?

There are many signs and symptoms that most women experience when they are pregnant, and you can use these telling signs in order to know whether or not you may be pregnant. Remember however, that not all women experience these signs and symptoms, and so even if you feel completely normal, do not dismiss the fact that you still could be pregnant.

Some of the most commonly reported signs and symptoms include that of: breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, bloating, discomfort, weight gain, bleeding, abdominal pain, and fatigue.

Pregnancy Question #2: It is Safe to Have Sex During Pregnancy?

Many people want to know whether or not it is safe to have sex while you are pregnant, and the basic answer is that having sex during pregnancy will not harm your baby. Keep in mind though that during the first trimester or so you will most likely not feel in the mood to have sex, because of nausea, vomiting, tiredness, or other physical discomfort.

However by the time the second and third trimesters come around, you will usually be feeling much better both emotionally and physically, and so this may now be an option for you. Many couples even continue making love right up until the time of the delivery.

Pregnancy Question #3: Is it Safe to Exercise During Pregnancy?

Again, although this will basically vary from person to person, the answer is that yes, you can exercise while you are pregnant. If your pregnancy is uncomplicated, you can then continue physical activity at your accustomed level.

Remember however to always consult with your doctor first before beginning or continuing any type of physical activity while you are pregnant, just to make sure that you will not be harming yourself or the baby by doing so. Basically it is okay to get moderately overheated as long as you can sweat freely and stay well hydrated.
