Learning About Panic Attack SymptomsWhat are the Most Common Panic Attack Symptoms? There are actually many different panic attack symptoms, and it should be known right away that a panic attack will often begin abruptly, and will then peak within 10 minutes and then lasts anywhere from about 20 minutes to a half an hour. However you also need to know that panic attacks have many variations, and so not all people are alike in this regards. There are some very common panic attack symptoms, and this includes that of the following: rapid heart rate, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath and hyperventilation, chills, hot flashes, nausea, abdominal cramping, chest pain, headache, dizziness, faintness, tightness in your throat, trouble swallowing, or a sense of impending death. In regards to how these symptoms are caused, they are actually caused by a number of different biological changes that occur during times of stress and anxiety and the human body is very resilient and so even in times of serious anxiety we can be strong, although we may not feel it during the time of one of these attacks. The most important thing to remember is that there is help that is available out there, and so even if you are a constant and frequent suffer of panic attacks, you need to know that there are places that you can go to for help and that there are solutions out there that will be able to make your life much easier and more livable once again. Remember to go in for regular checkups with your doctor, so that they can keep an eye on you and so that they will be able to tell if you are having onset panic attacks; as well, you may not even realize that you are prone to panic attacks until it is too late and so if you ever feel as though you are recognizing some of the symptoms, then you are going to want to check with your doctor as soon as possible. |
