The Natural Way to Fight the Menopause Anxiety and Depression Successfully

Menopause anxiety and depression seem to go hand in hand in most cases. Sometimes the depression is very acute which would be accompanied by migraines, body aches, inability to socialize, body ache, low self-esteem and so on. In other words, the world all of a sudden looks like a very scary place to live in.

The Menopause Anxiety and Depression Are Not the Only Symptoms

When you are looking at menopause symptoms, you would find that there are plenty, each one worse than the other - such as suffering from sleeplessness, restlessness, sudden weight gain, rapid decline in sexual desire, extreme mood swings, fatigue, skin dryness, among others. Therefore, when you would look for remedies just something for the menopause anxiety and depression would not do.

In order to fight the symptoms caused by the onset of the menopause, you would need to fight the cause of this problem, i.e. the reduction of estrogen hormone production in the body. When you would find a solution to this problem, you would find the key to controlling most of the symptoms including the menopause anxiety and depression.

The Natural Way of Fighting Menopause Anxiety, Depression, and Other Symptoms

Yoga has been found to be an excellent natural remedy in this instance. There are a number of asanas (yogic postures) that when practiced on a daily basis at dawn, facing the first sun rays would help you immensely. You need to learn the asanas from a certified guru or yoga practitioner so you could practice these perfectly before trying on your own at home. Do not try learning by yourself at home, because you would never be able to catch your own faults and a fault here means that the cure wouldn't work.

You could also fight these symptoms with herbal concoctions which are easy to make and excellent in results. There is the St John's Wart, an herb which has been used for ages against depression. Be careful though that it can have serious side effects if not taken in the right proportions; to be safe, you need to always discuss your treatment with your family doctor and the doctor who deals with the natural remedies. Use the natural remedies only if they are one hundred percent safe. You do not need to add to your owes with some more problems, do you?

There are plenty of natural remedies out there that you could easily use such as lavender bath oils that fight body pains and depression, foods that contain phytoestrogens such as carrots, cabbage, beans, soy products and so on. Phytoestrogens are the herbal counterpart of the estrogen, the hormone which is on the decline in the body due to menopause, which causes all the symptoms mentioned a little earlier.
