Tips on How and What I Do to Stop Panic Attacks



If you have ever had a panic attack then you know just how awful it can be. Most of the time, I would feel as if no one could understand how I felt. The most common symptom I dealt with was a racing heart beat and rapid pulse. I also experienced having trouble breathing. Sharing exactly how and what I do to stop my panic attacks made me feel a lot better. Others were able to learn from my experience, and it felt good to help. The first thing I figured out was how to do what I knew would help stop my panic attacks. It usually was as easy as taking a step back from whatever situation was causing the problem. I found a lot of great tips online as I was searching for a cure to help me with my anxiety. Some worked, and some didn't, but everyone is different so what didn't work for me may very well be the answer to your problems.

How Do I Stop Panic Attacks In Public?

This can be a real scary situation if not handled properly. When you are in public, it may seem as though everyone is watching you. Well chances are that they are not. They will hardly notice the fact that you are experiencing a panic attack. Well exactly how I stop a panic attack is doing what comes naturally, breathing. If you can take a moment or two to get control of your breathing you will be able to continue on in public and your panic attack should cease to exist. The best place for you to take control of you panic attack may be a public restroom. I find this is an excellent place to get a little privacy, and there is a place to sit, allowing you time to calm down.



How Do I Stop Panic Attacks From Affecting My Life?

Panic attacks can take over your life and if you don't find away to deal with them it could cause major issues. I try and take time out as often as possible to catch my breath. I also use a controlled breathing technique that allows me to recover quickly. Once I realized that I was not alone, I was able to open up and share with others. I found great comfort in panic attack support groups and message boards online. I have even found a couple of people who I talk to on a regular basis. This is the best advice I can give to some one who is suffering from panic attacks. Before you know it, your panic attacks will disappear.
