Could It Be The Cause of Your Heartburn Rose Tea

Heartburn, whether it is chronic or not, is a common problem that affects many people around the world. There are many potential causes of heartburn that should be examined.

The first step is to examine your lifestyle; perhaps some daily habit is causing the problem. After doing this, it is important to rule out any medical conditions that could be the cause of your heartburn problem. To do this, it is important to seek the opinion of a medical expert.

The doctor may be able to prescribe you with medications that would help heartburn. Tried everything and still, nothing? No solution? Well then, look at the tea you have been drinking.

If you have heartburn, rose tea could be the cause. While it is a common cause of heartburn, rose tea contains a natural herb called a rose hip. While rose hip provides many nutritional benefits, it also has several unwanted side effects, one of them being heartburn.

What Is A Rose Hip And How Can It Help Me?

A common cause of heartburn rose tea contains a natural herb called rose hip. Rose hip (also commonly known as (Hip berry, Rose Haws, Rosa species, Wild Boar Fruit, and Rose Heps) contains a lot of vitamin C.

In fact, more vitamin C can be found in rose hip than in oranges! Rose hips also contain folate, and other nutrients. These nutrients are successful in easing many medical afflictions. For example, although rose tea cannot treat heartburn, rose tea has been used to soothe diarrhea, stomach ulcers, and dizziness.

There are some side effects, including heartburn, rose tea can give you. For example, bladder and kidney stones can develop if excessive amounts of vitamin C are digested. Too much vitamin C has also been resulted in sickle cell crisis in rare cases.

Some people have found that, besides heartburn, rose tea has led to respiratory problems. While these are some of the more severe side effects, other less serious side effects are headache, insomnia, nausea, and heartburn; rose tea has been shown to cause all of these problems.

Make Your Own Rose Tea For Nutritional Benefits

Although one thing that can result of drinking it is heartburn, rose tea has many nutritional benefits that should not be ignored. If you want to be a recipient of these benefits, it is not impossible to make your own rose tea.

Rose tea is quite simple to make. Simply gather rosehips from the rose bushes, either wild or domestic, towards the end of the summer. Either dry the herbs or use them fresh, about one tablespoon per every cup of water that you use. Boil the amount of water desired; then remove from heat and add the rose hips. Steep for 20 minutes. When you are finished, add honey to taste.
