They say that if not constantly cleaned our colon will have hardened fecal matter in its walls. That's because claims that fecal matters are retained inside the colon have no scientific basis. Surgical observations and autopsies have yielded no such results either. Inserting a rubber into your rectum might cause the formation of abscesses because of too much water. Disturbing your body's natural cleansing system might also cause electrolyte imbalance and even draw holes into your rectal walls.
Absorbing too much water from colon cleansing can cause a number of diseases like heart failure, water in the lungs, vomiting, diarrhea, and chemical imbalance. These are evidence enough that colon cleansing upsets the balance or natural order of our bodies. General medical practitioners frown upon colon cleansing because it is classified as an alternative type of medicine. So if you know doctors that do cleansing, chances are he might not be licensed medically. Fecal impaction and chronic constipation can be treated by colon cleansing, but only during this worst time. But even in these times colon cleansing is the last alternative. Doctors will first advice you to increase your daily fiber consumption. Quackery The idea of colon autointoxication has been relegated to quackery. It only makes sense to doctors that do colon cleansing, who for whatever beliefs they might hold, believe that our food is full of toxins and is toxic. Pharmaceutical companies prey on people and use doctors that do colon and cleansing to instill and further fuel our society's innate fear of diseases like cancer. The thrust that colon cleansing is founded upon today is the same as it was a century ago. It was unfounded then, and it still remains unproven until today. |
