Colon Cleansing Baptism: Introducing Colon Cleanse Tube

Today, a lot of people are advocates of colon cleansing. There are two types of colon cleansing; the first is by taking colon cleansing supplements, which are either in powder or liquid form. The other is the most popular method which is colon irrigation or colon hydrotherapy. Colon hydrotherapy is an infusion of water which is pumped into your rectum to flush it.

Colon cleansing is believed to help prevent colon cancer, and treat ailments such as acne, candida, and constipation. Medically colon cleansing is used to treat chronic constipation and fecal impaction. Medical practitioners do not recommend colon cleansing as a cure. Colon cleansing is generally used as a procedure before any major operation to cleanse the large intestines.

How Is A Colon Cleanse Tube Used?

Maintaining a clean colon is an essential part in the journey to a healthier body. Some people may go on diets but others go the ultimate extreme.

Colon irrigation in layman's terms involves you lying in a fetal position; while a therapist inserts a colon cleanse tube up your rectum. Once the speculum is in place, you are rolled over gently in order not push the colon cleanse tube out.

The colon cleanse tube is connected to a long plastic disposable hose which is also connected to a hydrotherapy unit. Purified warm water is then pumped into your colon. You will feel pressure as the water is pumped into your large intestine. This feeling is actually caused by the contraction of your muscles which is called peristalsis.

This contraction will help push the feces out another colon cleanse tube, which will then be disposed into a biohazard container. During the process the therapist will massage your abdominal area to encourage the process.

There will be a gross factor to all this, because the colon cleanse tube is actually clear, and you will be able to see the "stuff" going out of the other end. You will feel slightly uncomfortable during the whole process; especially towards the end because more water will be pumped in a slightly increased pressure level before it is stopped.

After the whole session the therapist will remove the colon cleanse tube. She will then leave you alone for a while so you can sit on the toilet and pass any residual water, and fecal matter.

The whole procedure from beginning to end takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The colon cleansing procedure will be followed by a general sense of fatigue the day after the process was undertaken. The experience of colon cleansing will not be great; a colon cleanse tube up your butt is not very comfortable. If you believe that colon cleansing is important to keeping your body healthy, and you can take a bit of discomfort go ahead and just do it.
