New Cellulite Reducers Available Today

Cellulite is a common issue that most women will go through in their lifetime. It is thought that cellulite is completely normal, simply being dimply fat that sits under the skin. The main contributing factors to having cellulite are thought to include: diet and exercise, poor circulation, hormonal fluctuations (mainly estrogen, which is why cellulite predominately affects women) and fat levels. And today, there are more and more cellulite reducers coming onto the market - whether which, if any work, are up to the process of trial and error.

Heat And Laser Therapies

There is a number of new cellulite reducing treatments now on the market designed to help smooth the skin and lessen the look of cellulite using heat massage and/or a low energy laser to help stimulate circulation so as to dissolve the fatty deposits. Velasmooth is a new technology which uses infra-red light and radio frequency to break down the fat deep in the body, reducing the size of the fat cells and break down fat. Unfortunately though, this treatment is very costly, with treatments being priced at around $200 per session, with patients recommended to take at least twelve sessions for a complete treatment.

Mesotherapy

Another is mesotherapy, a homeopathic remedy which works by injecting a concoction of substances into the subcutaneous layer of fat below the skin, in an attempt to encourage the body's natural fighting system to dispose of the fatty tissue. However, like most cellulite reducing therapies, it can be costly, with prices for mesotherapy costing thousands for a complete session. And it has been noted that this treatment can be somewhat risky, as the substances injected into the client varies from practice to practice.

Massage

One massage treatment used try and smooth cellulite out is a technique called Endermologie. This treatment involves wearing a body stocking and lying prone while a hand-held device with rollers is used to roll along the skin, supposedly breaking up the fatty deposits. It has been noted that this treatment makes skin swell up, making the cellulite go away temporarily. This cellulite reducing treatment first came out in 1998, and requires around twenty treatments, costing about $100 per treatment.

Use Your Common Sense

Cellulite is a completely natural occurrence in the body, and so is hard to treat as it is not a disease or illness. Before any external or expensive remedies can work, it is important for people to do the ground work first by exercising and eating well, maintaining a healthy body weight and drinking plenty of water. If this doesn't reduce the cellulite to a level you are happy with, then experimenting with various cellulite reducers may work for you. .
