The Positives of the Bowflex Power Pro

To some, the bowflex power pro is a "gimmicky" device that is a departure from the traditional bodybuilding and strength training weights that one will find in a gym. Of course, the bowflex power pro is designed as a compact exercise device designed to fit in the home. It is not device for competitive bodybuilding; it is designed to provide an exercise resource for those looking to get in shape when they come home from work.

Using the Bowflex

On a baseline level, the bowflex power pro device provides a decent amount of resistance training so that the muscles will grow when subjected' to the resistance over a period of time. Additionally, if one drops the amount of weight on the bowflx power pro and increases the number of reps then the device will provide a decent method of calorie burning. (Please note: if calorie burning is desired it is advised to cross train low weight/high reps with jumping rope, jogging, stationary bike riding, etc) So, if you are looking for a decent home gym product designed to provide achievable results this is an excellent product.

Putting the Bowflex into Perspective

There will always be some confusion regarding a blowflex power pro device and its ability to get a person in shape. Granted, much of this confusion comes from the advertisements that promote the blowflex power pro as the individuals who are featured in these ads have physiques that may not be reached by the average person. Now, this is not to say that you CAN NOT develop the physique the actors in the commercial possess, but these actors must watch a strict diet, perform a great deal of cardio and a lot of resistance training. This could run into 3 to 4 hours of training a day. The average person will probably only have an hour to train a few days a week and one hour is ENOUGH to make noticeable gains in physique.

As the old saying goes, you get out of something what you put into it. If you are consistent and dedicated with your training and set goals that you follow through with then you will achieve your desired goals. Remember, it is not so much the equipment you purchase that brings about the desired result it is your effort. Of course, having the right equipment certainly doesn't hurt either and the bowflex power pro system is definitely the right equipment to use.
