Baby Health Care Is At An All Time High

Current statistics explain that currently 62% of all mothers in the United States work outside of the home at some point each day. Of these 62% of women, 56% are using outside child care to care for their infants. Statistics also show that of the women that will have a child today, over 57% of them will return to work within six months of giving birth. A total of 63% of all mothers giving birth today will return to work at some point with the first year. This means that baby health care is a top priority to the American mother today.

Baby Health Care In The Child Care Industry

Finding quality care for an infant is a difficult thing to do but is an absolute must for a healthy baby. Infants want and deserve a lot of touching, holding and snuggling every day; not all child care facilities will provide that type of healthy care for a baby.

As a parent of a newborn, it is important to remember that no one is going to love your baby as much as you do, the trick is to find someone that will love and care for your baby almost as much as you do.

Going to a commercial daycare provider may not provide the one-on-one contact that you want for your baby, so be sure that you ask specific questions about the infant to teacher ratio before you sign any childcare agreements. Healthy baby care is a fundamental part of quality health care for a baby; this means each baby needs to be touched, rocked, given quality tummy time and interacted with on a one-on-one basis.

Science Supports Healthy Baby Care Builds A Strong Developmental Foundation

Recent studies in science have proven that the brain development in the first years of life is absolutely fundamental in shaping the development of each child. The interaction that your infant experiences with the people around him or her will create the foundation of the intellectual, social and general overall development of the brain. With this factual study in mind, it is absolutely fundament that the child care provider you choose for your infant provide the quality stimulation, interaction and attention that will promote a strong and healthy future.

The individual or child care facility that you choose to provide child care each day you work will have a large impact on who and what your baby becomes in his or her adult life.
